Terms of Service
Clear terms mean a strong partnership. These rules cover consulting work, remote access, and Devolutions RDM deployments so both sides know the scope before the first ticket is opened.
Fields & Foster Network provides IT consulting, network solutions, software implementation, system integration, data security, cloud services, and technical support under these terms. If you use our services, you agree to the responsibilities below.
Service Agreement
This network solutions service agreement sets the ground rules for consulting, implementation, and support. Short version. We define the work, price it clearly, and keep the process tied to written approval.
Scope, deliverables, and change orders
Each engagement begins with a defined scope of work. That scope includes the systems, sites, users, and deliverables listed in the proposal or statement of work.
-
description
Written approval matters.
Work outside the agreed scope needs a change order or a new statement of work. Verbal requests do not expand the contract.
-
calendar_month
Timelines depend on client input.
Delays in access, approvals, vendor responses, or required data push delivery dates back by the same amount of time.
-
payments
Fees follow the agreed rate.
Invoices are due under the payment terms listed in the proposal, service order, or support agreement tied to the engagement.
Client duties during service
You provide current contact details, lawful access, and the authority to approve work on your systems. Without that, implementation stalls.
Keep data current. Backups, credentials, and device records must be accurate before support begins.
Protect internal approvals. If your staff share access, you are responsible for what they permit and request.
Pay on time. Past-due accounts may pause support until the balance is cleared.
Acceptable Use of Remote Access
Remote access acceptable use is strict for a reason. Devolutions RDM and related gateways give us controlled access to your systems, and that access stays tied to business use only.
Authorized use only
Sessions are for the systems, users, and tasks approved by the client. Accessing data outside that scope is a breach of these terms.
Monitoring and records
We may keep session logs, audit records, and admin notes for support, compliance, and troubleshooting. Keep that in mind before every connection.
No illegal activity
Do not use our tools for fraud, malware, intrusion, license abuse, or any activity that violates law, contract, or policy. Plain and simple.
RDM implementation conditions
Devolutions RDM deployments depend on your network, identity setup, and endpoint policy. If those pieces are unfinished, the rollout waits. We do not force a half-built access path into production.
You are responsible for approving vault structure, account ownership, and any internal controls tied to remote access. We implement what you approve.
Security is part of the contract
Credentials, passwords, and sensitive client data must stay protected on your side and ours. If a breach starts with a shared password or weak internal control, the fix begins there.
Short sentence. Lock it down.
Limitation of Liability & Warranty
Lake Charles IT provider terms should say what we can control and what we cannot. These limits keep service practical when networks, vendors, power, or client-side decisions affect the result.
What we cover
-
support_agent
Service work performed under the agreement.
We stand behind the tasks listed in the signed scope, within the limits written there.
-
cloud
Reasonable care during implementation.
We use care, planning, and documented steps when we touch cloud, network, or remote access systems.
-
warning
Limits for indirect loss.
We are not liable for lost profits, interruption caused by third parties, or damage outside the contract terms.
What is excluded
Force majeure. Storms, outages, supply issues, and other events outside reasonable control can delay or stop work without penalty.
Data loss. You are responsible for maintaining backups unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
Third-party systems. Vendor tools, ISP issues, hosting failures, and client-managed devices are outside our direct control.
No warranty beyond the contract. Any service promise ends where the signed scope ends.
